Shea Moisture Baby Eczema Cream Product Review
So here is my other Influenster VoxBox that I received complimentary from Influrenster in exchange for my honest review of the product. I decided to post this one on my motherhood lifestyle blog (here) rather than on my beauty blog, www.katebegotten.com, since this VoxBox product applies to babies and motherhood.
This one came in this spring green colored box that I love. I just love how they send different kind of boxes and in all kinds of colors and shapes. Enjoy my VoxBoxes every time and can’t wait to see what color it will be and what will be inside. You actually never know what they might send you! You just know the general product category once you get a notification that you’re getting a VoxBox.
This VoxBox was perfect for my older toddler. It is a cream for eczema. My little one has eczema so after careful research of this company and product I decided to apply it to his skin to see how he does and how the cream performs. It actually does pretty well! It helps to balance the eczema and keep it in check. Of course, it does not make it go away, but it really helped us to get his little eczema spots better controlled. We were pleasantly surprised. I think this is my favorite VoxBox that I have received so far.
One of the many things I liked about this product is the protective packaging. It came wrapped in plastic so the cream wasn’t just hanging about without protective wrapping in the box.
The cream also has the stamp of approval from the National Eczema Association. I recearched them and they do exist. I am not sure how totally legitimate the organization is as I did not do deep research on them, but on a careful quick examination of their website they do seem legitimate. I encourage you to check them out for yourself, as well.
Here I removed the protective wrapping so you guys can see the product description better and be able to read what the bottle says. You can also see how the cap opens up as I took this picture like this on purpose to show you what kind of cap it has, in case you have cap preferences like I do. Some caps are just not worth messing with. This one was easy to handle.
The back side message of the company’s product and descriptions. I encourage you to check them out for yourself and see if this is something you would like to give a chance. Personally, I think this is definitely worth having for a baby that has eczema. It really worked and I will keep buying it for my son.
Going back to the protective packaging, I can’t help but admire the fact that they seem to have top notch protective wrapping all over. Not only the cream bottle but also the cream opening at the cap as well. I always check whether the cream or product is easily accessible or if there is a protective thing you need to remove before being exposed to the cream.
To me, this is basically like making sure that no one else messed with my cream or breathed on it or did whatever to it since the foil was in tact. I try not to buy anything that does not have this kind of security and safety standards because after all, you never know what someone did to a cream or a different product if it has no protective foil to remove. So for me this is a big one. If it is to you, too, then you’ll be happy to know how well prepared and highly protected this product was delivered to me.
And the cream looks like this (picture above and below). It has nice sweet color to it and a gentle smell of honey that is very hard to detect.
Above is the picture of how the consistency is. It is very thick and feels really good on your hands and body. Gives a nice little warmth after using it which I really like.
The cream really helped my son with his eczema. It is not perfect, of course, and does not eliminate the problem spots completely. However, it does work in controlling and maintaining them. I would highly recommend this cream to anyone who has a baby with eczema. As always, I ask you to make sure to do your own research and to ask your pediatrician first to make sure that you are ok and safe to use it on your baby.
Our son loved it and we will get more of this cream for later use. This little bottle is actually lasting us for quite a while. We use this cream to put on his problem spots and then on top of it we put Eucerin cream all over his body and on top of where we put this eczema cream. Let me know your opinions about this cream in the comments box below! I’d love to hear what ya’ll thought.
